Faceted beads for striking, stylish jewellery

A strand of jadeite beads in the shape of a faceted cube is a material that immediately draws attention with its rhythm, geometry, and refined decorative appeal. The combination of main elements sized at around 8x8 mm with smaller inserts of approximately 3 mm creates a particularly interesting visual dynamic. This composition doesn’t look monotonous, but lively and thoughtfully designed, making it ideal for characterful handmade author jewellery.

Faceted surfaces reflect light beautifully, adding a delicate lustre to the pieces without excessive brightness. The cubic shape gives the design a modern feel: these beads look just as appropriate in minimalist, clean designs as they do in more complex multi-component creations. A strand length of about 37 cm provides a convenient base for making necklaces, bracelets, earrings, chokers, or combined sets where the material’s expressive texture matters.

This format is especially appreciated by makers who enjoy working with shape and contrast. The cube reads clearly in the finished piece, helps you build a crisp ornament, and pairs harmoniously with metal findings, spacers, pendants, and decorative inserts. Smaller 3 mm elements can add lightness and smoothness to the jewellery, balancing more accentuated larger beads. Thanks to this, the strand opens up plenty of possibilities for creative experiments.
