Jadeite beads barrel, diameter 8x7 mm +/- , length 38 cm +/- on a thread

Expressive jadeite for jewellery with character

Jadeite beads in a barrel shape are a material that immediately draws attention with its soft natural texture and harmonious outlines. The 8x7 mm size looks balanced and neat: these beads don’t overload the design, yet they are clearly visible in the finished piece. A thread length of about 38 cm is convenient for creating both minimalist and more intricate design solutions — from classic jewellery to bespoke accessories with a distinctive natural aesthetic.

Jadeite is valued for its calm, noble appearance, which blends easily with different styles and materials. The barrel-like shape adds rhythm to the composition, while smooth rounded lines create a sense of softness and completeness. These beads look particularly well in necklaces, bracelets, earrings, as well as in combined pieces with metal findings, pendants, spacers, or decorative accents. They can be the foundation of jewellery in a natural style or an elegant detail in modern minimalism.

Thanks to their versatile size, these beads are convenient to use both for working on their own and in combination with other elements. They pair well with warm and cool metal tones and look harmonious alongside glass, crystal, hematite, pearl accents, and other types of stone beads. For makers, this is a great choice when you want a material with a natural mood, pleasing visual depth, and plenty of room for creativity.
