Nephrite beads, smooth round bead, diameter 6.5 mm ± on a thread, length 38 cm+

Elegant material for jewellery with a natural character

Nephrite beads in the form of a smooth round bead are a versatile base for creating jewellery where understated elegance, natural beauty, and a sense of harmony come together. The even rounded shape makes them particularly convenient to work with: these beads are easy to combine with each other, pair with metal findings, pendants, spacers, or decorative inserts. A thread length of about 38 cm provides plenty of material for creative ideas — from minimalist bracelets to multi-strand necklaces or earrings sets.

The smooth surface of the beads gently reflects light, highlighting the stone’s natural texture and its soft, calm aesthetic. Beads with a diameter of around 6.5 mm look delicate, yet at the same time distinctive enough to become a noticeable accent in the finished piece. This size is considered one of the most convenient for designer jewellery: it suits both minimalist designs and more complex compositions where balance between lightness and decorative effect is important.

This material is ideal for makers who value a neat appearance, versatility, and a natural mood in the details. Nephrite beads look great in everyday jewellery, in restrained classic styles, in pieces with a natural palette, and in gift hand-made projects. They combine easily with seed beads, findings for silver or gold, silk tassels, natural cords, and other stone elements.

• Convenient smooth shape for even, tidy compositions
• Versatile diameter for bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and pendants
• Natural aesthetics that suit various styles
• Great choice for designer jewellery and creative experiments

A thread of such beads is a material that is easy to work with and a pleasure to use to create pieces with character. They add softness, balance, and a sense of natural beauty that stays relevant regardless of the season or style.
