Black Shamballa cord (string) on a bobbin, diameter 1.4 mm+

Practical base for eye-catching jewellery in the Shamballa technique

Black cord on a bobbin is a versatile material for creating bracelets, beadwork compositions and other jewellery where strength, flexibility and neat-looking knots are important. Thanks to its deep black colour, it looks restrained and elegant, and it pairs easily with metal findings, decorative inserts, and stone, glass, ceramic or acrylic beads. This shade particularly well highlights the texture of details and adds a graphic, expressive look to the finished piece.

The 1.4 mm diameter cord is well suited for weaving in the Shamballa technique, macramé and other handcraft methods where comfort during work and a stable shape are essential. It is dense enough to create clear knots, yet comfortable to work with even during long weaving sessions. Winding it onto a bobbin helps keep the material organised, avoids tangling and makes it easy to quickly measure the required length for a new project.

This cord is a suitable choice both for artisans who regularly create jewellery and for those who are just getting to know the world of handmade. It works well for minimalist bracelets, multi-row designs, and for men’s and women’s accessories, as well as for pieces where you want to emphasise the beads or pendants. The black base creates a sense of completeness, depth and neatness, and the finished jewellery looks modern and versatile.

• convenient for weaving Shamballa bracelets and macramé

Such a cord is a reliable foundation for creativity, helping you bring ideas to life with attention to detail. It fits naturally into any workshop where an immaculate result, comfort during work and a striking look of the finished jewellery are valued.
